I am currently a Governing Board Member of the San Carlos School District, elected November 2007 and again in November 2011. I created this site to keep in touch with folks who want to know more about what is happening in the District and what it's like to be a Trustee.

San Mateo County Office of Education 2009 Annual Report

This week I received a hard copy of the county’s 2009 Annual Report to the Community. If you’re interested in getting a good background on what the County Office of Eduation does, as well as take a look at some interesting statistics about all of the schools in the county, I recommend a reading. It’s posted online on their website. Statistics include information on attendance, student demographics, teachers, school finances, academic performance, etc.
